Frequently
Asked Questions
1. Are
online pharmacies legal?
This is a very valid question and we are proud to
answer it for you. The same rules that apply to your
neighborhood walk - in pharmacy apply to online pharmacies.
In order to legally disburse medications in the United
States, or to other countries, the pharmacy must meet
all FDA and DEA standards, and be licensed and accredited.
In addition, in order to dispense certain medications,
(medications classified as “scheduled or Class One
medications” ) a physical exam and prescription by
a licensed physician is required.
Those
who do not adhere to the professional and legal standards
governing pharmacies may not legally operate online
pharmacies and are subject to serious consequences
for violation of the law.
We
are proud to share with you that our affiliated pharmacy
is fully licensed and strictly adheres to all state
and federal guidelines. In addition our affiliated
pharmacy is JCAHO accredited, and an accredited member
of “The Council For Responsible Tele-Medicine.” We
proudly display the JCAHO and CRT symbols on every
affiliate web site as our assurance to the public
that when they order approved medications through
our affiliated web sites, they are dealing with a
licensed, accredited pharmacy – just like the one
in their supermarket. The big difference is that consumers
save up to 50% or more by using our online pharmacy.
In developing this new Internet medium for the delivery
of health care services, our organization is committed
to meeting and exceeding current regulations. PrescriptionProfits.com
only utilizes licensed physicians. Our pharmacies
are licensed and employ licensed pharmacists to provide
you with the highest standards of pharmaceutical care.
All medication is obtained from legitimate pharmaceutical
wholesalers, so you rest assured you are receiving
the same medication as you would at your neighborhood
pharmacy.

it is then at your option. But again, it is never
required.

already have affiliates – people just like YOU – whose
CDRX web sites are generating hundreds of orders every
week, and these average everyday people are now making
thousands of dollars every week. I promise you that
we can do the same for you – and I back that with

a refill of their prescription! You can quickly have
hundreds, or even thousands of consumers who are re-ordering
prescriptions every 30 - 60 days; and we pay you for
every refill too, even though we are handling everything
for you.
We
handle all orders, shipping, customer service, host

19.
How Does An Online Consultation Work?
Online consultations are a new concept in health care
that utilize the Internet to improve patient access
to physician care. The patient does not receive a
traditional physical exam by the physician, but rather
completes an online questionnaire and communicates
with the physician using our secure online communication
tool. Although online consultations will never take
the place of traditional medicine, they do provide
a means for patients to receive treatment for a limited
number of conditions that, in certain circumstances,
may not require a physical exam.
20.
What Prescription Medications Do You Dispense?
We only offer medications that can be prescribed from
online consultations, therefore we carry a very limited
number of medications. No legitimate online medical
company will ever offer narcotics or addictive medications
via the Internet. The medications offered on our website
do not require a physical examination. A thorough
review of your medical history is sufficient.

22.
Can I Return My Medication For A Refund?
We are unable to accept returned prescription medications
due to Federal Law.
23. Are there any benefits to purchasing approved
drugs online?
Yes. Legitimate pharmacy sites on the Internet
provide consumers with a convenient, private, way
to obtain needed medications, sometimes at more affordable
prices. The elderly and persons in remote areas can
avoid the inconvenience of traveling to a store to
purchase medications. Many reputable Internet pharmacies
allow patients to consult with a licensed pharmacist
from the privacy of their home. Moreover, Internet
pharmacies can provide customers with written product
information and references to other sources of information
like the traditional storefront pharmacy. Finally,
the increasing use of computer technology to transmit
prescriptions from doctors to pharmacies is likely
to reduce prescription errors.
24. How many web sites sell prescription drugs?
The
National Association of Boards of Pharmacy has identified
approximately 200 domestic web sites that dispense
prescription drugs but do not offer an online prescribing
service. According to a recent Chicago Tribune article
cited by the American Medical Association, there are
at least 400 web sites that both dispense and offer
a prescribing service -- half of these sites are located
in foreign countries. Some have estimated that the
number of Websites selling prescription drugs may
now be closer to 1,000. The number of Websites, however,
fluctuates from day to day, and seems to be growing.
25.
How many people have been harmed from drugs purchased
over the Internet?
It
is impossible to accurately quantify adverse event
rates because FDA's postmarketing surveillance system
receives reports on only a relatively small percentage
of all adverse events caused by drugs. However, as
a result of postmarketing surveillance data collected
by FDA, we know that the sale of unapproved drugs
and the illegal sale of approved drugs over the Internet
poses a serious public health risk. We know, for example,
of many adverse events resulting from the use of the
drug GBL and the date rape drug GHB, which are unapproved
drugs sold illegally
over
the Internet. FDA learned recently of a person who
was harmed by the use of Viagra purchased from a Website
without an examination by a healthcare professional.
Unfortunately, the man had a family history of heart
disease and died after taking the drug.
We
also know of cases where people choose the Internet
for treatment to avoid consulting a health care professional.
These consumers, however, run the risk of purchasing
inappropriate drugs or unknowingly purchasing counterfeit
or sub-potent drugs.
26.
Some Websites offer to prescribe medication based
only on a questionnaire. Is this a safe practice?
Is it legal?
Unlike
the traditional relationship between a patient and
the patient's health care professional, some online
practitioners issue prescriptions in the absence of
a physical examination or direct medical supervision.
According to the American Medical Association, a health
care professional who offers a prescription for a
patient the practitioner has never seen before and
based solely on an online questionnaire generally
has not met the appropriate medical standard of care.
As a result, patients may receive a drug that is inappropriate
for them to use and may sacrifice the opportunity
for a correct diagnosis or the identification of an
underlying medical condition for which use of the
prescription drug may be dangerous.
It
is a violation of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic
Act to dispense prescription drugs without a valid
prescription. FDA will work with the states to determine
the validity of online prescriptions and to bring
enforcement actions under state law, federal law,
or both, as appropriate. In addition, several state
boards of medicine have ruled that such practice is
medical misconduct and have fined and suspended the
licenses of health care practitioners who have prescribed
drugs in this manner.
27.
What are international organizations like WHO doing
about Internet prescribing and dispensing?
The
World Health Organization is in the process of developing
a guide entitled "Medical Products and the Internet."
In addition to providing tips on finding reliable
health and medical information on the Internet, it
will provide advice on buying medical products online.
FDA participated in the development of this guide.

your referring website in the past remember to login

32.
How do I know I am getting proper credit for orders/sales
made from my Online website?
We call our tracking process - "Life-time customers"

33. Are the generic drugs that you sell safe?
Yes, all of the generic drugs that we sell have
been deemed equivalent to their associated brand name
products using equivalency criteria similar to those
used by the US FDA. Our generics are just as safe
and effective as any you would find in a pharmacy
in the USA.
34.
What are generic drugs?
When a drug company first invents a drug (eg. Prozac)
that company is the only one allowed to make that
drug for a certain number of years (approximately
10 years in the US). After this time period, other
companies are allowed to make the same drug. These
drugs are called generics. The original drug (eg.
Prozac) is called a brand name drug. Brand name drugs
and their generics are IDENTICAL in terms of active
ingredients. The generic pills may look different
(because they are made by a different company) but
inside is exactly the same active ingredient which
works in exactly the same way. The only difference
between brand name drugs and generic drugs is that
generics are always less expensive.
35. Are your prices in US dollars?
Yes, all prices appearing on the website are
in United States Dollars.
36.
Do you charge sales tax?

If your country is NOT listed, then we unfortunately
do not ship there.
39.
How much do you charge for shipping?
Our shipping fees vary. Various methods and pricing
are available at time of purchase and vary from standard
Postal service to overnight delivery. Shipping is
calculated by weight. You can always estimate your
shippping cost by placing an item in your shopping
cart, and checking out. You will see how much the
shipping will be, before you place your actual order.
40.
How can I find out if my order has shipped?
Click the "STATUS" button at the top
of our website, and enter the information it asks.
On this page, you will be able to find out your order
and shipping status, and any comments which our Customer
Service Rep's have provided.
41.
What if a product I ordered is out of stock?
If an item you ordered is out of stock, we will
order it from our supplier. If the item is not available
from the supplier we will contact you and let you
know asap. If we cannot get the item in a timely manner,
you have the option to wait, or to cancel your order.
We do not charge any Credit Card until the item ordered
is available to ship.
42.
Why do the pills I received look different than the
ones I get from my local pharmacy?
Firstly, if you are used to Brand Name pills
and you have ordered a Generic from us, the pills
we send you WILL LOOK DIFFERENT. Generics do not look
the same as the Brand Name products, even though they
have the SAME ACTIVE INGREDIENT and work in EXACTLY
THE SAME WAY. In addition, the same Brand Name pill
may look slightly different in Mexico than it does
in the US. Some pills may have different shapes as
well as different colors, but all will have the same
ingredients and will provide the same benefits. When
comparing different Generics, they WILL GENERALLY
LOOK DIFFERENT if they are made by 2 different companies.
43.
Is my personal information kept confidential?
The personal information you give us will only
be viewed by authorized employees of our company for
the purpose of completing your order. We do not sell,
trade, or rent your personal information to others.
44. What is the difference between a new order
and a refill?
A new order is any first-time order that you place
through the website. If you have ordered a specific
product from us in the past and have previously had
our physicians review your medical history and issue
a prescription, you are considered to be refilling
a prescription. If you are refilling an order, you
may be asked to fill out an abbreviated version of
the original online questionnaire you filled-out when
you received your original prescription.
45.
What Is The Advantage Of Getting Prescriptions From
You ~VS~ My Pharmacy?
Your personal privacy and sense of comfort are
a priority to us. Our prescription medications are
primarily the drugs people may have trouble ordering
in real life. Drugs like Viagra and Propecia may cause
many people undue embarrassment in talking about or
purchasing. By being able to purchase online and have
the drugs shipped right to your home, can eliminate
that embarrassment.
We
can notify you as our selection of prescription drugs
is expanded. You are also encouraged to use our contact
form to suggest drugs you would like to see us carry
in future. Also, by ordering through us, you can often
get medications at a significant cost savings to you.
46.
What is the difference between a brand name drug and
a generic drug?
A generic drug is a medication for which the original
manufacturer has lost patent protection. Because of
this, other manufacturers are permitted to produce
and sell the exact medication at a lower more competitive
price. The generic drug is the exact medication as
the original brand name drug, simply made by another
company. Due to strict regulations on the generic
drug industry, these drugs must provide the same therapeutic
effect as the brand name drug. For more information
on specific Brand Name and Generic Drugs, please see
Prescription Section.
47. Will my delivery order be released to anyone
besides myself?
Yes, FedEx will release the package to any party
that is at least 21 years of age, a signature and
possibly a photo id may be required by the accepting
party.

from online consultations, therefore we carry a very
limited number of medications. No legitimate online
medical company will ever offer narcotics or addictive
medications via the Internet. The medications offered
on our web site do not require a physical examination.
A thorough review of your medical history is sufficient.
We
cannot process your order without payment. If you
mail your payment to us, please include information
outlining your request as well as your name &
telephone number so that we may contact you.
